Description

This is a page from my first issue of GI Joe. I can still remember discovering it on an old spinner rack at my local pharmacy. I had no idea that comics could be so outstanding until I discovered this issue. Weaverville Drug Company also offered a "hold" list where I would never miss a copy of A Real American Hero. It was a great time to be a kid and comic fan. I so miss the time when comics were made for everyone and not just collectors.

Awesome stuff! The old chevy and surfboards added incredible depth to the characters to give us more reason to root for them. Hama is great at it!
