Truly a masterpiece inspired by the Frankenstein portfolios at the time, this shows Starlin and Russell's admiration of what was out there infecting them with the itch to create this. A double page splash rich with modern illustrative detail!

What a great piece to have! The details are just amazing and there's a nice Wrightson-esque feel to it!

Superb double spread splash! I don't know how many times I've read this story. My comic book now is a low graded copy because of using ... ;) What I like more from Batman is the darkness, tragedy and decadence always floaring in the ambience, cityscapes and caracthers. Xavier Simon is not an exception! JimStarlin as writer&penciler is on of the all time best storyllers (Imo). Congrats!! You have an important part of the issue with the main events!

Great DPS! Superb detail from two artists at the top of their game. But what is it about DC and gorillas? Still... can't get enough of those DC gorillas! That is just great.

Mind-blwoing DPS! What an fantastic, imaginative, and somewhat crazy, spread! Love all the detail that Starlin and Russell put into this. Beautifully composed, and perfectly inked.
