Description

Wulf (and Makhel) reminisce back to his early days as a young boy.

Pencils by Jim Craig and inks by Aubrey Bradford.

A quiet page, but one of those pages that has a lot more sentimental value than most, based on my personal experiences with both Jim and Aubrey. Each of them independently related the story of how Jim had originally drawn Wulf in the top left panel with two left arms.

Published by Atlas/Seaboard way back in 1975.

Very cool stuff from the short lived Atlas imprint.  A real challenger to the big 2 early on, doing many popular genre's of the day.  They were high class paying big early to get talents in.  It's amazing that Craig would stick around to the fourth issue and still provide such high effort at the end.

Craig only drew the last issue of this series (#4), but he did draw to cover to issue #3 and re-drew some of Leo Summers art in that issue, since it was deemed too violent.  I don't think any other Atlas series made it past 4 issues though.  A fascinating piece of comics history.
