I am thrilled to add this to my collection. Steve Rude is one of the best interpreters of Jonny Quest and this is a perfect example. A different take on the classic moment from the original series episode 'Calcutta Adventure'.

Does anyone out there know the story behind this particular piece? I know there is an earlier (?) all pencil version of the art that was used through the 80's and 90's for various promotional and licensed material. This slightly different inked version seems to have been used for Hanna-Barbera's 2017 Jonny Quest t-shirt. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
