Description

"The large terrestrial thecodont Postosuchus attacks a Desmatosuchus, an armoured plant eating aetoaur in Arizona during the late Triassic some 225 million years ago." Pastel on paper, 16.75 x 22 inches, 1993. From the children's book Dinosaur Tree, published by Bradbury Press, 1994.

Douglas Henderson is one of the leading paleoartists who has illustrated numerous books, magazines, and museum displays. He has also provided concept and design work for films such as Disney's Brother Bear and Dinosaur. His art appears in the visitor centre's mural in Jurassic Park and Jurassic World and on the walls of John Hammond's bedroom in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
