In the Atlas Comics tradition that is pre hero and pre Marvel, these atomic age creatures roamed the comics spinner racks and movie theaters! They were the main attraction until Fantastic Four #1 transitioned them into the Marvel Age, so it is fitting this homage series would have some of this flavor. Frenz and Gordon's experience on the Fantastic Four gave this a retro look and feel to show the way Kirby would have approached the material.
