DescriptionIn this panel page, Nova is smack in the middle of action as NYC is about to be walloped by a huge wave! (Tsunami?). He tries a full frontal attack (panel 2) and SPANG! The wave kicks his butt (panel 3). In Panel 4, we learn that SHIELD/Nick Fury hare here to help.On this page, I love the action of the wave combined with how Nova is depicted flying. Social/Sharing |

A master of motion lines, Infantino builds tension through a wall of lines that provide flow and direction. The hero must attack from an angle or face the blunt consequences as Nova does here. If you've followed his work on the Flash, you kind of are familiar with how Infantino plays with physics. What creates a different symphony of lines is the touch of Tom Palmer that can add momentum to the flow and direction of the lines.

Basically, to a Todd fan, this is a spaghetti webbing explosion.

Infantino really shows the scale if the danger, and the movement on this page is great. Nice page!

Nova is up for the challenge and deploys his trademark SPANG and ZWITTT maneuvers to handle this nasty tsunami. Great action on this page - congrats!
