It has been awhile since I posted. I have had some health issues and that has cut down on my comic art purchases. Now that I am doing better, I am going to try and catch up on my backlog as I still have a lot of unposted art that I have bought over the last couple of years.

This was the last of a series of covers that I bought on a Comiclink auction over two years ago. Since then, not a lot of covers have reappeared in the wild, so it probably will end up being my last one. While it isn’t a cover from the Morrison run, Porter was still on top of his game with this one with facial shots of all of the Big Seven.

What a magnificent JLA piece! Glorious facial shots of the whole team is an event in itself. Love the jet black ink work on the lighting. Feels so noir-like here. Congrats!

Geraci does a great job of adding the shadows to the faces to add that bit of darkness they have now earned through Tower of Babel storyline.
