DescriptionSo blessed to have this Cover in my Collection! I missed this Cover many years ago which really made me sad so when I saw it in an auction, my heart skipped a beat and skipped many more beats until I got it in my hands. I’m happy I was able to save this Cover because I got it shipped to me, rolled up in a poster tube from France :/ I cringe just talking about it but it’s in perfect condition and forever preserved with the rest of my collection, Thank Goodness! Preservation is my collecting Moto! Please take care of your precious Art, even when you ship it to the new owner :)Social/Sharing |

What an imposing shot of Cable - this is an awesome cover. Congrats! Having a second chance at a piece of art you really love is always an amazing feeling in this hobby.

This looks intimidating the way it is and I have no idea why there needed to be headlights on the printed cover. Cable carries a big T-shirt cannon that will reach the 3rd deck and will be the end of Maude Flanders.

Glad this cover finally got to the right person and you could flatten/save it.

Great looking Deodato cover, David! So happy to hear you got it years after missing out on it. Hope you taught the seller how to properly pack art though!

Oh yes, you haven't truly lived until you receive your first piece of art rolled up in a tube. I wonder how many times I used this phrase in my International dealings: "Please ship flat!" Haha! Anyway, so glad it worked out okay and that you had a second chance to grab this beautiful Deadato Cable piece. It truly belongs with you, Mentee.

Gee, it's so nice of you to celebrate my brithday by posting this incredible cover. A killer Cable piece for the hobby's #1 Cable fan. Plus, I love the FOR SALE STATUS. So much better than "Permanent Collection." And I still have to chuckle when I hear another rolled art story, as I've received more than my fair share of rolled pieces. Luckily they have all flattened out pretty easily. Glad yours survived the ordeal. Congrats again buddy!

Excuse me while I whip this out...Cable with the big gun energy, as he does. Man, they rolled it up? That sucks, I hope it flattened up for you. It's like getting a rescue, you saved the cover. Congrats!

The only thing worse than art being sent rolled is when someone actually folds the art to get it to fit into a smaller envelope (thankfully the one time that happened to me it wasn't an important piece, but still . . .). This is a stellar piece of art - congrats on adding it to your impressive collection!

Glad it was able to come back around to you, man! Great image for sure, as Deodato really shows out his skills both in terms of tones as well as working with with shadows. Love the glow from the end of the gun barrel! Congrats!
