Touching page as Bruce transforms to Hulk and expresses his love for Betty.

Controversial issue where Betty loses her baby. Peter David withdrew his name as the writer for this issue due to creative differences with Marvel. Bob Harras filled in on script and Dan Reed guested in for regular artist Jeff Purves. Inked by the legendary M Severin.

Heart wrenching emotional work. This editorial decision probably set back quite a few plans and storylines. Reed and Severin provide this climatic scene that works to show Hulk/Bruce and Betty's eternal bond. It packs a greater impact than any gamma powered punch.
