Beautifully painted. The bright white areas indicate the light source glow that fades the other colors in the other direction. How the colors flow away from that energy is expertly done. Even the area where it goes over the border shows that Oliff did not want to stop the flow and create a pocket of color. He'd rather keep the movement intact to allow for the color to be consistent in the image.

Things are about to get bad for Tetsuo and all of Neo-Tokyo. But this is a beautiful page though! Love these color guides. Huge congrats!

Great page, and rare in a few ways, one being only published in the Epic collection but 2 that it is signed by Steve. All those Akira pages sold by Felix were not signed by him. Hope this is framed and up on the wall it is a keeper!

Strange and mysterious Akira page featuring Tetsuo Shima! This page is just prior to another shocking mutation of Tetsuo. The color is largely left out except for a touch of blue in the shadows in the top panel and blue and fiery red in the lower panel. It's a frightening and dark page that suggests a dark and bloody ending. Amazing pick-up, congrats!
