DescriptionFantastic page designed by one of the founding fathers of Marvel, Jack Kirby and inked by the magnificent Joe SinnottThis action-packed page depicts Johnny, Susan and Crystal grappling with the mysterious Mole Man. Apart from Johnny's face, which was redone by Joe Sinnott (see photo), there are only small corrections with white-out that do not alter the quality of the page in the least. Social/Sharing |

King Kirby and Joltin' Joe Sinnott create a beautiful page together. Very natural feel to the figures and faces in a dynamic four panel page display of greatness.

Classic 4 panel layout - each panel is a splash in and of itself! So much Kirby/Sinnott goodness to take in! Congrats!

The King! That is a stunning page! The tragic, wrinkled face of the Mole Man in the last panel is just superb, and the framing and storytelling are superb. Congrats!

Beautiful example of the Marvel's First Family by this perfect art team. The FF writer was Jack, by the way, Stan "only" improved The King's own words with fluid sentences and mighty exaggerations. Huge congrats !

Phenomenal Fantastic Four cover from Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott! Absolutely gorgeous art by the two guys who most influenced the look of the comic. And while it may not have a whole lot of action--In fact it doesn't have any--it does have a strong message. Johnny Storm confronts the Mole Man with the truth--that he is a coward who ran away from his fears while others, like Alicia Masters and Ben Grimm, faced their fears and succeeded despite them. Good message, but I doubt that the Mole Man learned a thing from it. Great pick-up, congrats!
