Description

Shanna looks like the victim here, but she actually stole Dherk's baby griffin out of curiosity, so we can cut him a little slack. For some reason I originally had this listed as Bruce Jones' pencils and Anderson inks. But that's not correct; Jones scripted, Anderson penciled and co-plotted, and Garzon inked.

Jones' mind for illustrative storytelling is fleshed out with Anderson's realism and influence from Continuity Studios. The Dherk close up is very indicative of this look and so are the action poses.

What a duo working in this one. I thought I was the only one reading Kazar back in the day. This is a sweet page from under the first ten issues. The bottom panels are really dramatic.
