DescriptionI am thrilled to add this wild and wacky page from an Alan Moore-written Image series to my collection! It features young Grifter, future Grifter, future Zealot (known as Tapestry), a new future Zealot, future Ben Santini of Stormwatch, and young Maul. The inks by Sal Regla are magnificent in person!Social/Sharing |

Never read this book but what a splasher! Splendid glory shot of the roster that looks like some whoop-ass is about to go down. And the inks indeed are immaculate. Congrats!

Thanks so much for the great comment! The story isn't Alan Moore's best work, so you didn't miss much by never reading it :)

Love this!!
Thanks, me too! Especially the Sal Regla inks, which look like he was studying BWS alongside studiomate Scott Williams!

Moore was a big get for Image especially when they kept getting unfavorable response to their storlines. With Violator mini and the regular Wildcats series, Moore was definitely qualified to bring this mini series forth. Not some of his best, but for a Moore completist, some of the things he never got to do with the big two are in Image books. This is a great representation of his impact adding credibility to Image for future writers to break in through their imprint.

I couldn't agree more, Marcus! Alan's work on Image didn't really get cooking until Supreme, IMO, but his WildCATS and Spawn stuff is still wacky enough to please this completist! Plus, Alan's creation of Tao led to Ed Brubaker's Point Blank, then Sleeper. . . some of my very favorites!
