DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!15-1/8x22-1/8" artboard features pen and ink original art by Maurice Whitman for page 10 (final page of The Glory And Death! story) from Jungle Comics #158, published by Fiction House Spring 1953. Artboard features seven panels and shows great action sequence where Kaanga and Ann Mason defeat Tonga and Bradshaw. Fifth panel has glue staining to word balloon from paste-over (now missing). Similar glue staining at top left corner or first panel. Last panel has some text replaced. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers. Bottom margin has grease pencil repeated information. Scattered pencil editorial notations in margins. Artboard has some scattered staining w/strip of tape staining and aged piece of tape on back. Art remains clean and Fine/VF overall. Social/Sharing |
