DescriptionRepost: Got this for $5 from Geof at NYCC a few years ago. It was in a pile with other sketches he did for the con. It's one of my favorite pieces because of the gesture, Darrow's command of the line and the really nice interaction we had. He told me used a Micron 1 or 2 that becomes soft and pliable over time which is how he is able to vary the line width with that kind of pen.Social/Sharing |

Always wanted a nice Darrow. And this one is almost perfect to me. Love the facial expression here, and REALLY love the positioning of the hands. Five dollars was your cost, but it's priceless in value. Great, great, piece!
