DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!15x20" Bainbridge Illustration Board features six panels of pen and ink and watercolor original art for page 46 of Marvel Graphic Novel #15, The Raven Banner. As tale of Asgard, it was published by Marvel June 1985. The graphic novel features art by noted fantasy and comic book artist Charles Vess, who rose to prominence among comic readers for his Marvel work during the 1980s. Art features Oddbrand Otter swept overboard ship alongside Greyval Grimson and Balder the Brave as Askella the troll departs from bow of their sinking ship as if a mist. Art does not feature text as published. Board has aged and shows some corner tip wear w/two strips of tape residue at top margin, but art remains clean and Exc. Vess has signed bottom right margin in black ink, adding "92" date. Would make for wonderful framed display. Social/Sharing |
