nick derington is a more recent discovery. love his clean line art style and his figural work.

this is where i first came across derington's art in the pages of doom patrol. love the all out action of the last panel and how casey and her evil twin mirror one another's pose.

what i also really love is seeing his blue 'underdrawing' in the pages i have. love seeing the process art.

Absolutely outstanding bottom panel, Ken (and I LOVE how the foreground action pops more against the black "jet stream" of Negative Man flying behind them - it adds such a terrific depth and dimension to the piece), but the lead up to it is really great, too... Clean, calm storytelling leading up to the explosion of action below. Really fantastic page, Ken, and you've convinced me: I need to order a copy of this trade right NOW. :)
