Description

I was hoping this one would re-surface someday.

Bag-head or bag-man Spider-man first showed up in ASM 258, where Peter had to borrow a spare FF costume from Johnny after Reid pried the symbiote one off to study it.

To my knowledge this may be the first and only time Spidey has appeared wearing this costume on a cover.

You bagged a good one! Ringo's art gets more appreciation through time as the energy he brought was infectious and uplifting in enthusiasm and spirit. One of the few humor variants that opened the door to the many we see today.

Na,na,na,na,na,na,na,na,na,na,na,na,na,na, Bagman! ...Wrong superhero but what a tune. I think you may be right about this being the only time he was on a cover with a bag over his head.
