Description

Many thanks to Mr. Miserocchi of the Addams Foundation in hopes of identifying this piece. He had not seen this before and does not believe it was published. It is a combination of two published pieces, one of Morticia with the dead Christmas tree of scary ornaments and the other of Wednesday and Pugsley beheading her Christmas doll with their miniature guillotine. It may have been done as a gift, or a piece that never submitted for publication.

Picture is of the framed art. I will get better pics once it is de-framed and de-matted.

Nice ornaments on the tree as well! It's the holiday season of Halloween and the joy Pugsly gets is howlingly good by the morose macabre humor of Addams.

Unusual to see Pugsley doing the beheading - as your description explains it's usually Wednesday beheading the dolls. Still a very nice wash example. Congrats!

Very cool Addams Family cartoon! Charles Addams was a wicked talent with a very sick way of seeing things! But I mean that in a good way!
