The greatness of this page is the realism Bianchi puts into the swing of the sword. The momentum does the work as the swing allows decapitation to play out in front of us. We can feel the weight of this as the act places a heaviness on the close up of her eyes. It's too late to turn back, this is the life she has chosen. This is her, now and forever.
