Description

Like most collectors, there is a significant nostalgia component to my OA collecting. I am really excited that I was able to get a page of Batman art from Norm Breyfogle, whose rendition of Batman remains my go-to Batman in my mind's eye. Moreover, it's a page from a story that I distinctly remember paging through multiple times in my youth, which gives it a special place in the collection.

The page itself has Breyfogle's great action pacing and his distinctly angular Batman in action. Love the close ups on the page and the expressions seen on Bat's face. You can feel his rage. Definitely don't want to be on his bad side.

I was able to meet Norm at a con many years later. I'm glad that I got the chance to let him know in person how much I appreciated his work.

Norm's my favorite Batman artist, and this is a great sample of his work. Very nice.
