DescriptionFew Barks paintings are this large, and few have as many characters!If you've been lucky enough to see any Barks' originals before, you may well have seen the ones that are 14" x 18" or 16" x 20" -- those are positively dwarfed by this one measuring 29.5" x 23.5"! We can only think of one painting he ever did that's larger, and the number of same-sized paintings can be counted on two hands. This painting (CB-OIL 127) was created to celebrate Donald Duck's 50th birthday. It stars one of the largest casts to be found in any Barks painting: A-listers Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Uncle Scrooge are joined by Daisy Duck, Grandma Duck, Gladstone Gander, Gyro Gearloose, Horace Horsecollar, and quite a few others to boot.
