Description

I am very fond of landscape art, but rarely would a piece of comic book art be described as landscape. The only other landscape comic art in my collection is the splash page for Lead Will Fly at Sunset by Simon and Kirby. So I am pleased to add another to my collection.

This art was done in traditional manner for a digital only comic, kind of the opposite of what so often happens nowadays. Oeming said it was originally intended as a cover but ended up being used as a promotion piece.

Layers and depth! Oeming makes such a detailed work look simple like cake.

Loved when this piece came up, simple and almost calming landscape. Enjoy the views and the flying objects both identified and not.
