Description

A very expressive watercolour by Rafaela Luna of the Brazilian heroine dedicated to countering Amazonian rain-forest destruction. Purchased at an online auction featuring images of Yara Flor to highlight this great cause. An A4 size masterpiece of efficient elements of graphic execution - from the carefully detailed rendition of the eyes to the loose light depths of the forest and the relief patterned solid gilding in the costume. Superb.
