Description

I haven’t posted in a while so today being my birthday I wanted to get a special one on here. Several years ago, I made a purchase from Nick Farrington (fellow CAF'er, Australian, and very nice guy). Anyway, when the package came Nick had thrown in (for free no less) an unpublished splash from Punisher Max #24 Leandro Fernandez had penciled. The published page, which I have linked below, is a much more long-distance viewpoint of this finale gut shot (which was well-deserved for those of you who have read Up is Down and Black is White). Anyway, as Scott Hanna had inked the original run, I contacted Scott and he was kind enough to ink the piece. I will also post the finished inked piece but love these pencils as well. Sorry to go on for so long but it was a very nice gesture from Nick and Scott to work with me and create a unique piece of Punisher Max unpublished history. Thanks for looking.

A birthday page with a gutsy composition that even MAX was afraid to publish. This certainly puts their reputation down a few notches below Archie Comics if they can't even do what their imprint promised.

Wow that's rough treatment but he had it coming. Viewing this with the description made it Max-tra cool. Glad to see you post I was worried not seeing or hearing from ya. happy belated birthday. Mike + grapeApe
