�� While keeping up with soccer news from the Tokyo Olympics 2020, played in 2021, the USWNT struggled, but the Canadian team caught my attention. In this Japan vs Canada highlights video at the one minute point, Canadian goalkeeper Stephanie Labbe dives for the ball and the Japanese attacker Tanaka fell over her. After medical attention, Labbe saved the penalty kick and was surrounded by her teammates before leaving the game. In this Canada vs. Brazil quarterfinal shootout video, Canadian captain Christine Sinclair led off, but Brazil's Barbara saved it. Labbe saves the last two Brazilian attempts. In this Canada vs. US semifinal video, Labbe saves a couple American scoring tries. Canada won Bronze medals at the Olympics in 2012 and 2016. This year, they played Sweden in the Women's Football Gold Medal Match. Sweden had knocked Canada out of the Women's World Cup in 2019. The dramatic penalty kick shootout starts at the two hour 45 minute point. We see scores, saves, and misses.
