Make sure you don't lick this. Frogs do not secrete substances and release it from their skin, but toads do.

This is Throg's cousin, Fred. Equally powerful, but subtler.

Fred yearned for the simpler life, until one day Hawkeye came in and ruined his home! Coming in 2022 Fred vs The Marvel Universe...

Excellently designed cover that I would immediately pick up. It reminds me of Coventry's first issue.

Ahh it does! I had to do a quick google search as I was unfamiliar but thanks for shouting that out 😁 this to me was a great example of less being more.

This piece deserves a story so gather around kids. Pull up a place by the fire. It's story time by Uncle Johnny.
Quite a few years we were looking at a expansion for a gravel pit so it being by a major river there were quite a few regulations and environmental requests to be checked so a lot of scouting the land was to be done. So for 3 days I walked through swamp and old ox bows from the said river. Three days of miserable walking, soaking wet, millions of insects and heat wave to boot. Then on fourth day, high ground. Lots of walking but seemed wonderful compared to previous three. I got back to truck late in the day and jumped in and turned the AC on blast to try and cool down before I started my paperwork on the days findings. Just then I felt something crawl up my pants leg. There is a amount of terror one has when this feeling happens that I can't really describe. I immediately reach down and grab whatever it is. I grab something large and soft. So I am squeezing it and trying to pull it away from my leg but I can't due to my jeans being tight on my leg. All I can think about is the animal is now trapped and it's going to start biting and scratching my leg.
I jump out of the truck holding the thing tightly in my one hand and trying to untie my boot and then my belt with the other. Down and off came my pants to let this monstrosity free that is attacking me. And i have zero regard for the the other people and traffic that is witnessing this occur. So here I am covered in dirt and sweat from heat and terror with one boot off and pants half off and slowly opened my hand releasing this beast while holding onto my boot to defend myself with what is surely going to come out claws amd fangs bared. And what popped out? Flippin Fred. Looked at me all puzzled them escaped under my truck. So long and short of it. Don't mess with Fred, he doesn't need mjollnir so best someone way bigger than him.

Oh my god 😂 I think if you've spent any time in a swamp you have at least 1 Fred runin! They are unpredictable and must always be approached with the upmost care! I've been scared by a frog on numerous occasions and I'm not proud to admit it but it remains true....
