Description

This is a DC Black Label mini-series written by Fables creator Bill Willingham with pencils by Brian Level and inks by Jay Leisten. I'm enjoying this series which is part horror and part mystery. Brian Level is really pushing it with unique visuals in the panel layouts and using different types of scenes. Jay Leisten is adding to the overall art by adding some moody effects and polishing up the lines and darks. This art came with both the pencils and the inks on different boards so I've decided to display them side by side.

Very instructional to see them side by side. Any aspiring artist putting together a portfolio could take notes on both pieces to know how the pros operate.
