DescriptionI'm happy to share this page from Miles Morales: Spider-man #31 page 19 featuring Miles, Starling, and Taskmaster by Marvel's Marvel Stormbreakers class of 2023, Chris Allen!This page was drawn by Chris Allen and published in 2021. Chris' process generally involves roughing out the art digitally, then printing it out. He will then tighten up some elements, like Taskmaster's face, on the paper with pencil, and then ink the page traditionally. I feel lucky to have picked up some of Chris' art since he doesn't sell much of his work outside conventions, and this issue featured the Chase Conley, 10th anniversary suit! The suit first appeared on the last page of issue 29 and throughout issue 30. Since issue 30 was done digitally I was extra excited to pick up this page from issue 31. The suit was featured in 13 issues of Miles Morales: Spider-Man vol 1 and several spin off issues. Social/Sharing |

I always loved Taskmaster. I felt like they did him/her wrong in the movie. Great page!

Great page, Taskmaster especially looks awesome. And there isn't much of Chris' work out there to see on CAF or anywhere so it's cool to see in general. Congrats!

Like the way those 2 vertical panels sandwich the Taskmaster splash, and also cool how his hand in breaking that first panel. Also...you like I'm a fellow fan of the Conley costume :) Congrats!

The skull face is so sharp and engaging as the centerpiece of the page design. Step back and you can spot the line tangents making Taskmaster look more complete.

A character with a skull for a head, mysteriously cloaked in a hoodie. How can anyone NOT click on this?!?

Unfamiliar with Chris Allen until now, but the line work is wonderful, as well as the panel choices here! This is pretty much a splash, with Taskmaster offering up these long vertical panels as if he controls them. It works remarkably well and makes for a banger of an interior!
