Description

If you've been paying attention to some of the art I collect, you'll know that Onslaught is among my favorite Marvel villains! When Mr. Jordan Joanou was awesome enough to put this piece up for sale, I couldn't resist! Though the 1st appearance of Onslaught is somewhat tricky to decipher, seeing as he's mentioned in several books before this, and you can see his shadow in the previous page, page 16 does seem to be the "birth page" as it were; featuring several bold panels of Onslaught, with said character identifying himself. Anyway, this is definitely both a strong piece of art and a memorable part of Marvel history; it's a thrill to add something so significant to the Onslaught mythos to my collection.

Congrats on working this out with Jordan. It may only be an appearance in silhouette, but it's clearly him, so rock on!
