Description

This sketch is of Kratos "the GOD slayer", from the video game series GOD of War made by Santa Monica Studios exclusively on Playstation. After playing the video game it is so simple to know that Kratos became one of my all-time favorite characters. This sketch is on a very rare smaller Turkish blank.
The story behind this piece happened all so fast. I flew out to meet the artist Clayton Crain to pick up another original painting from him. When we met up he drew on a coaster to give to me as a gift for making the trip out then signed a book or 2 for a friend and the timing was so perfect because I was also stopping at Emerald City Comic Con 2021 and I had blanks already with me for that purpose. Clayton looked up at me and asked me if I wanted anything signed... I said I only had blank sketch books. He then proceeded to ask what I would want... the rest is history! He absolutely killed this portrait and in under an hour no less!
