DescriptionFantastic Pogo daily, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the start of the War of 1812…in the background, we can also see Kelly’s caricatures of Nikita Krushchev and Fidel Castro, but what really drew me in is the beautiful artwork in the first panel…First published June 18th 1962… The War of 1812 (18 June 1812 – 17 February 1815) was a conflict fought by the United States of America and its indigenous allies against Great Britain (with its colonies The Canadas) and its allies in British North America (Tecumseh’s Confederacy), with limited participation by Spain in Florida.
