Description

Lords of the Ultra-Realm was a mini-series written by Doug Moench, drawn by Pat Broderick, and published by DC in 1986. The series began with the death of Falkon, Prince of Bliss, at the hands of Maurkon Prince of Rage.

I commissioned this piece from Pat Broderick at a convention in the 1980s (I believe 1987 but definitely after the publication of the LOTUR special. This is either my second or third convention sketch but I don�t believe I�ve posted it previously.

I learned the concept of providing a good reference with this piece. I wanted Rage in his original costume (pictured here) rather than the costume in the special. Fortunately, I had the original 1986 mini-series at the show.
