Great that Cooke found that Wonder Woman to be the bridge between Batman and Superman working together. The sketch has the energy of someone working the drawing through feel and instinct. He ven finds it good enough to perfect it with a second Wonder Woman face.

Stunning Darwyn Cooke prelim! Cooke is one of those amazing artists you can never see too much of! This New Frontier prelim has all the impact of his finished pieces. Fantastic pick-up!

A perfect encapsulation of Cooke's vision of the Big Three. I loved how he made Wonder Woman truly Amazonian, taller even than Superman. (Even when not in the foreground as she is here.)
