Description"In the Shadow Of the Sphinx!"September 1982 MTIO run is so special for many "things" ;). Great Marvel artists worked on it. Many big events happened in those pages... Thanos... Warlock...The Thing! I love this page because many reasons. First of all beacuse I like Doctor Strange. But second, because it is full of small details. The Sancta Sanctorum in Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange showing it's magic, the Caldern of Cosmos, and also an out-of-body experience by the Doctor Strange. Not easy to find pages with all of these elements. I like a lot the first and the last panels. Ron Wilson is not one of the top on top Marvel artists but is a great one. Fine and Elegant lines. A great intro page for Doctor Strange that they set up in these books giving the guest star their showcase moment before the team up. For anyone that never picked up a Doctor Strange book, these were great at building the Marvel Universe. Great close up center panel and all the character traits of Strange presented around it.

Astral projection into a zipatone ether? Now that's sweet. MTIO was a favorite of mine, too. All those great team-ups, and usually against really interesting random baddies. Like a certain Ka stone wearing Egyptian that the Thing is about to go a few rounds with...Great find. Congrats!
