DescriptionJust a few days after he went up into space, Shatner came to the last ever Wizard World Chicago. I created a sign that said "Suck it, Picard" to use in the photo. I asked Mr. Shatner if I could hold it up, he gave me a brief lecture about empathy and how would Patrick Stewart feel about that. Then he asked if I was the one who started the meme online showing him in space holding a sign that said "Suck it Picard". He told me he had to call Patrick and let him know that he did not do that. So even though I did not get to hold up the sign (which is why my hands are behind y back) I did end up getting a good story to go with the picture.Social/Sharing |
