Description

Circa 1998-2004

Done with various lead grades and strokes. Black cave is wide marker. Loincloth and fur as well as muscle and rock shadows are ink wash over lines or just wash.

Each shell segment of the lobster had 3 to 5 applications of hand pencil strokes. The same is true. Paper Yellowed from .

The overall image detail foreshadows the work shes does today.

In 2017 she has won a 3rd place at Arc - Art Renewal Center
And on 2020 a First Place in Surreal Art
She has displayed and place at IX - Imaginative Realism
Various ComicCons and has been in the last few SPECTRUM: The Best In Contemporary Fantastic Art.
Her work was displayed at Sotheby and Christie's galleries in conjunction with ARC
She was in a showing at New York's Salmagundi Club - the oldest in America.[Walt Whitman & Louis Comfort Tiffany were members]

Technically excellent and aesthetically pleasing in this rousing piece that tightens the tension of a man versus nature struggle.
