DescriptionThese villains love to talk about their master plan...And just check out those dead eyes in the last panel. Kinda like blackhole collectors who never ever reply to emails.... Social/Sharing |

Ha! Villains do love a good monologue, especially when the plan is THIS diabolical! Lim absolutely nails Thanos’ presence here, and those lifeless eyes in the last panel really sell the cold, calculating nature of his scheme. Definitely gives off that same energy as emails disappearing into the void. No soul, no response, just infinite darkness! 🤣

Thanos revealing his sinister plan to Surfer made for such a memorable moment! villains in comics love to monologue almost as much as Bond villains! fantastic page man, congrats!

Atop his tower, Thanos plays god with a reveal that leaves you cold. Carried out in the movies, it left all of us distraught for an entire year with ramifications that we still ponder about.

Cool quiet page of Lim Surfer (when he was still decently inked).

Stunning Silver Surfer page penciled by the great Ron Lim and inked by Tom Christopher. This is a classic scene, in which Thanos reveals his plan to kill half of the universe's population! This is an historic moment in Marvel history portrayed in a series of close-ups between Thanos and the Surfer. The key moment, as you so aptly pointed out, is the final closeup of the dead eyes in Thanos' face. It's a chilling moment. Great pick-up, congrats!

Lol, the eyes are the abyss of non-replying collectors :) Nice top to bottom storytelling Thanos's motivations. Congrats!
