DescriptionThis piece addresses some inconsistancies in the storyline of Crystal Collins (portrayed by actress Liz Renay) in MARK OF THE ASTRO-ZOMBIES.Crystal Collins repeatedly describes her alien abductors in interviews sprinkled throughout the movie. The problem is that none of the aliens seen in the movie match her detailed description. The real world explanation is that Liz Renay adlibbed all her lines and never knew what the masks and costumes looked like. Since her ramblings are so far removed from the action taking place on the screen, she comes across sounding like a delusional bag lady. I'd asked Netzer and Rubinstein to pay homage to the pre-Code Social/Sharing |
