To celebrate Sal�s birthday I post my first commission I got from him in 2002.
He just started doing commissions back then and this is a new cover commission from one of my favorite Hulk stories with inks by the original inker Joe Staton aswell!

Incredible interpretation by Sal Buscema showing Hulk more protective of the lady in this version. Crypto Man strikes again this year! His powers of ETH threatens all Hulk original art and may be too much for us to handle.

Love to see Sal's take on these covers that he didn't draw back in the day. IF you are curious why Sal didn't do many covers back then, I have insight from Sal. LEt me know - I will send you a podcast link.

THWAK! A steel beam to the neck will give you such a crick. Gorgeous Sal/Staton commission, both pencils and inks. Man, you have the best Sal stuff. :) Congrats!

This was one of the first few comics I remember buying on the newsstand. "Don't Forsake Me" was probably my favorite comic story when I was a little kid. The death of Jarella was a big deal. Great idea to get Sal's take on this.
