DescriptionAn early painting from Dave Palumbo's "Quickie" series, published in his first book collection of the same name.Own a painting from one of the most collected and prolific American painters in our generation, Dave Palumbo. Palumbo’s instinctive paint strokes bare a freshness and honesty akin to John Singer Sargent or Anders Zorn. His technique displays a complete trust in his ability accompanied with a divorce of outcome that can only be attained in true mastery. The piece is just one of hundreds of paintings in Palumbo’s “Quickie” series. And how few of them there are available on the market is a testament to their rarity, desirability, and value, all which seem to accrue with age. Paintings from Palumbo’s Quickie series are particularly sought after and don’t stay up for sale for long. Do not miss your chance now. For purchasing inquiries, please use the contact form below. This isn't comic art. Well done but what has it to do with comics? Mary Jane's naked butt, lol

Hi Arrik,
David Palumbo, who painted this pin up, is a very prolific artists in the comics comunity and has had his work featured prominently in the comics world. This painting belongs to a series from his private non-commercial work and shocases his grasp of form, color, composition, and gesture. If Mary Jane is who you imagine the woman to be, who am I to corrupt your fantasy?

So it's not a comic character? I was thinking it must be a comic character or why post it. You should sell it as fine art then, not comic art.

I posted it the comic art section because i figured fans of comics would be most familliar with his work, as he is an artist that has been prominently featured in the comics world. Maybe I'll post it in both sections. Thanks for the suggestion.
