Description

Purchased from Dave Johnson at Terrificon 2021. Prelim for another commission, I imagine. I really dislike Azrael. I think he's got a stupid, garish design from before my time. Sean Gordon Murphy's Curse of the White Knight is the first time I'd seen him drawn cool. This is the second time. I'd buy an Azrael ongoing if it was drawn by Dave Johnson in a heartbeat.

I think the original design is garish and kind of robot with the full mask and giant round shoulder armor. It was born out of that time and what made him so very much symbolic of the mid 90's.
