Welcome to Shemp's art Gallery. Due to technical difficulties I was unable to post yesterday. Back today posting from my phone which I loathe to do, but you have to do what you have to do. On with the art.

Lobo was created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen, He was introduced as a regular character in Giffen and Slifer's Omega Men, Omega Men #3 (June 1983) to be exact. He soon fell out of use with the writers. After a well-received appearance in Justice League International, another Giffen project, Lobo became a regular character in L.E.G.I.O.N. 89. (Yet another Giffen project).

In 1990, he appeared in his own four-issue miniseries, Lobo: The Last Czarnian, plotted by Giffen, written by Alan Grant and with art by Simon Bisley. The character blew up!! That mini-series led to many subsequent miniseries and specials.

Lobo enjoyed a short run as one of DC's most popular characters throughout the 1990's. In a 2006 interview, Keith Giffen said, "I have no idea why Lobo took off... I came up with him as an indictment of the Punisher, Wolverine hero prototype, and somehow he caught on as the high violence poster boy. Go figure."

Now that's what I call a title page! Semeiks doesn't let any space on the page go to waste.

Lobo gets put into any situation gets better because he never changes! Westerns, romance, comedy, funny animal, etc. you can be sure they better get fraggin' used to him.
