Description

"I'll never scoff at James Bond movies again!!"

Ray Bailey started out working for the Fleischer Studios. In the late 1930s he was an assistant on Gus Edson's 'The Gumps' and later on Milton Caniff's comics 'Terry and the Pirates', 'Male Call' and 'Steve Canyon'.
After leaving Terry and the Pirates, he created his own strip (Vesta West) and the aviation comic Bruce Gentry for the New York Post Syndicate (1945). And then his most famous work on Tom Corbet : Space Cadet from 1951- 1953.
