Description

A modern age page starring a Golden Age character -- here is Who's Who #7 (DC 1985) featuring Doll Man by Murphy Anderson. Murphy loved Lou Fine and drew many of the Secret Origins and Who's Who pages featuring characters drawn by his idol, Lou.

This was done as 2 images which were merged into one for thee comic -- Dimensions, 9.75" x 6.5" to 9.75" x 8". From the Murphy Anderson Collection

Murphy did a great homage to his hero Lou Fine.

it's almost hard to believe this piece wasn't drawn in the 40s !

Really fun pieces by Murphy Anderson. I expecially love the second drawing, with the tiny Doll Man tripping the villain by grabbing the heel of his shoe. Now that's how you stop a bad guy!
