Description

We all know Budd is known for drawing sexy women, but let's give the man credit for knowing how to tell a sequential tale.

The "Prologue" in the top panel is fantastic and builds tension in small panels as the "Werebear" encounters an undersea beast.

Bottom panel is a fantastic half splash of the 15-foot gorilla Klyde as he rages at the cruel gods who have taken his Cavewoman. Final published page was toned with more gray ink wash.

Budd has mainly stuck with drawing his own creations but I wish he would do covers for some publishers like Marvel/DC/Image.
