So apparently I'm a collector of The Ray covers. As I might've said when I posted my other Ray pieces, I didn't mean for this to happen, but here we are! Howard Porter is a phenomenal artist and if folks want to overlook his early work, then I'll happily take what I can get! Having said that, I haven't read this issue, so I have no freaking clue who the heck is this this crazy wacko! Clearly the Ray's rogue gallery leaves something to be desired.

I even had looked up his powers (It wasn't me)
She even caught with a dealer (It wasn't me)
She saw the marks of the inker (It wasn't me)

DUCK! I really like covers that take the action at the reader. It's just a fun trope, and it always got me to pick up that issue when I was a kid. And I picked up quite a few copies of Ray. It was a fun series, with great cover images, imo. Great action cover. Congrats!

Around the time (of creating this cover) Porter found his unique style and started putting his mark on the industry ! Fantastic piece !
