As much as I was blown away as a 13 year old only 12 to 18 months into collecting/reading comics when Sienkiewicz blasted me in the face with his art in New Mutantss #18, I still have a fondness for the more traditonal comic book stylings of McLeod, Buscema and Mandrake on the first 17 issues of this title. So nice!

Fantastic page showing Kitty resenting being put in the kiddie table having to join these rookies after she has put in years fighting alongside the main team.
