DescriptionIs this for real? Are you seeing this? DC in the 1970s was crazy yo! Wonder Woman with her invisible plane acting like Tarzan and fighting the Statue of Liberty! Plus the transformation scene. Sailor Moon has nothing on Diana Prince! According to DC fandom - the baddy here is the Duke of Deception (love the "Duke" part!)Besides the silly action, I love the inking on this one. Thanks for checking it out! Social/Sharing |

A walking Statue of Liberty? I think DC has a potential claim against the creators of Ghostbusters II. Love that transformation across the top of the page!

"The time to strike is..." what?! You are leaving us hanging! Gotta find the issue to find out how she puts Ms. Liberty right! Great page.

Wonder Woman vs the Statue Of Liberty? That is some awesome DC craziness right there. Really love that transformation image. Three Wonder Womans in one panel !! Really love Delbo's run on WW, and this is a fantastic example, congrats!

I'm not the biggest Colletta fan but he did a great job on the top half of this page. In 1970's, Wonder Woman had some popularity due to the TV show but it's nice that she has an even higher profile these days.

Delbo was my favorite WW artist when I started reading comics before flashier artists like Perez. He really brought it on this page!

Your Art, lifting her higher
Than Diana's been rendered before
So post it up
Quench my desire
And Delbo at your side, Colletta more
You know your page (your page keeps lifting me)
Keep on pricing (page keeps pricing me)
Higher (pricing me)
Higher and higher (higher)
I said your art (your art keeps lifting me)
Delbo (art keeps lifting me)
Pricing me (Pricing me)
Higher and higher, oh! (higher)
Number One, I was Duke Fleeded
Of Deception was Groo's closest Fan
But then you came, and it soon started
And you know I never
Bought this art again

Love the multiple image transformation of the first panel with Diana's legs breaking the border then the Invisible Jet and her using her lasso... what more could you ask for in a page? How about her battling with the Status of Liberty ... now there's a scene you don't see every day! From the brief time period the comic went back to the 40's and WWII setting to mimic the first season of the smash Linda Carter TV show.

Wait, you're not tired and huddled?! Taste oxidized copper, Amazonian! Wonder Woman really does have some awesomely bizarre pages. It's funny you mentioned it, because I've been thinking that recently, seeing some of these other pages coming out. That layout is as trippy as the story, and it's super cool. Love Delbo art. Great find. Congrats!

Crazy layout, depth, energy, storytelling, a great WW splash...yes, sir. This one's got it all, as they say! Delbo's such a nice guy, too. Love how WW is straight running off the page! Congrats!

I've been looking at a lot of Delbo art lately. He was really amazing. He had such great skill when it came to drawing female characters, Wonder Woman included. Congrats on snagging such a fun page!
